Lube Your Leather
It's cold out and your leathers are feeling neglected in the closet. The dryness is sucking out all the oils that came with that piece of cow. You've discovered that you can't raise temps by sheer willpower, but you can plan ahead so when the weather hits, you'll be out on your bike before you can say Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Keep your second skin happy and be ready to roll with some leather treatment that will clean, soften and water-proof your jacket. Pecard Motorcycle Leather Dressing uses a pH balance-neutral compound to replace lost oils in the leather fibers of jackets, gloves, boots, seats and chaps.

It has the perfect density to let dry leather absorb as much oil as it needs, then leave the excess to be buffed off, thus avoiding residue. Taking proper care of leather will help it last longer, perform better and look sharp.

Find out why loggers, cowboys and gear heads have been using their "Never Leak" products for over a hundred years. Four bucks will get you a 2- 1/2 ounce tub, which is enough to do your jacket and boots.

Hopefully it was just a bad cow. The leather in my 04 still looks great. Maybe this is just an issue with 07s and 08s? Has anyone else had this issue?

Did you use any leather care products on it?

I havent had that happen to my car.  I too, use the Zaino leather products and love the look and smell.

By the way, someone once told me that any skin care product with 100 lanolin in it is great for auto leather interior.  It allows the pores in the leather to breathe.
