Dear Members:
Challenge Air for Kids & Friends needs your help!!! We are a local Dallas-based children’s nonprofit organization dedicated to inspire and empower children & youth living with physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses through an amazing flight program offered at no cost to the children and families we serve. We host about 10-15 major events each year at local airports for about 150 families at each “Fly Day” event. Among the many activities provided, each child will sit as a co-pilot in a small four-seat plane with family members riding as backseat passengers. Once the plane is leveled out at 1,500 feet, each child will actually take the controls and fly the plane, thus empowering them through the freedom of flight!!
These kids need your help!! Challenge Air,
www.challengeair.org, was recently awarded a custom-built chopper motorcycle by a local business at the McKinney Airport called Cutter Aviation
www.cutteraviation.com. The bike is amazing!!! We are selling raffle tickets to raise much needed funds. Challenge Air is in survival mode. We are relying on this bike to help us make it through the end on 2009. We have a total of 2,000 tickets to sell and have only sold 165 tickets to date. The last day to sell tickets is December 31, 2009. The odds are great.
On behalf of Challenge Air, would you mind to forward this message on to friends or other members? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions you may have about Challenge Air or to request a copy of the spec sheet for teh chopper. The chopper can be viewed on our website,
